We will contact you if arriving more than 15 minutes early or late. If you are unable to be home when we arrive, you will get charged a $35 service fee.
Payment is due at the time of service. K9 Design accepts cash, check or credit card. There will be a $25 fee for any returned check due to non-sufficient funds. K9 Design will not service you until fee is paid. If you cannot be home please leave a check made out to K9 Design. For rare occasions we can invoice you a bill. That invoice must be paid by the end of the day.
All price quotes are for pets groomed every 4-6 weeks. Price quotes do not include sales tax. If your dog or cat is matted or overgrown and requires extra time your price will go up.
No de-matting Policy
Please notify us if your pet is matted before your appointment. We want to insure we have enough time set aside. A little tangle in the ear or tail no problem. K9 Design can bush or clip the mat out. If your pet is matted on the body or legs, we ask that you remove them before your appointment unless you pefer a 1/4 in length cut. De-matting is a painful, time-coming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate, or cause skin problems. Neglect of the pet's coat can cause problems after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation. If your pet cannot remain still accidents, such as cuts, nicks, etc., from clippers or scissors can happen. However, K9 Design will use discretion to determine if it is safe for your pet. If your pet is matted we might need to start from "scratch" and shave the hair off. Shaving the coat off after being matted can expose pre-existing skin issues. The after effects of mat removal procedures may include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions. Client's are responsible for the condition of the pet's coat and will not hold K9 Design responsible in the event of adverse effects of mat removal.
Cancellation & Missed Appointment
If you cannot keep your appointment please call us! We need at least 24hrs advance notice. Failure to CANCEL 24 HOURS in advance or not being present at the scheduled time will result in a $30 fee per pet. It is the clients responsibility to keep track of their scheduled appointment. K9 Design will give you a courtesy text or phone call reminder the day before but please don't rely on it.
Key and Code
After our 1st visit we can keep your key or code securely in our possession. That way you can come home to a cleaned pet. No need to worry about hanging around for your scheduled appointment. Yes we are licensed and insured! K9 Design is not responsible for damages or theft to a clients home/property during a service call while grooming your pet.
Why does mobile grooming cost more than a regular grooming salon?
We come to you! Your dog/cat has one on one attention without the stress from being caged. You do not have to make 2 trips to the salon. You do not have to plan your whole day around getting your dog groomed. Mobile dog grooming allows the groomer to have one-on-one grooming session with your dog/cat. They get my undivided attention, are hand dried so they don't have to be put into a cage. We only use high quality shampoos and products.
